On April 8, 2024, Mr. Tan Xuguang, chairman of Weichai Group, chaired the Vietnam Maritime and Industry Customer Conference at Sheraton Hotel, HCM city. Participating in the symposium were representatives of 12  shipbuilding partners, transport companies, design companies, generator assembly companies and distributors in the Vietnam.

Mr. Tan Xuguang listened to customers' opinions, openly discussed market opportunities, shared the value Weichai brings about maritime and industrial dynamics, and strives to build Weichai brand in Vietnam markets

On the same day, Mr. Tan Xuguang also visited Saigon Shipmarin shipyard and visited a 4500T transport ship installed with all 6 main engines and generator set from Weichai
